✨ Our Take

Why We Recommend It

Tired of wobbling through every downward dog because your hand can't reach the floor? This Gaiam block brings the ground up to you, giving you a stable, non-slip platform that turns shaky poses into confident holds. It's made for beginners who need extra height and alignment help, but light enough (4.6 oz) to toss in a bag for studio sessions. The trade-off: the foam is soft enough to dent under heavy pressure, so it's not ideal for weight-bearing arm balances where you need rock-hard support.

At 4.6 oz, you can toss it in your work bag and never skip a lunch-break stretch again.

💖

Adjust your alignment without guessing

Place it under your seat in seated forward fold and feel your hips lift — instant feedback on your form.

Is This Right for You?

First-time buyer in this category
→
Start with this block — it's affordable, lightweight, and the non-slip surface will make your practice more stable.
Power user or experienced buyer
→
Check if you need a firm block for arm balances — if so, this one may compress too much. Otherwise, it's a great travel block.
Budget-focused buyer
→
At $11.99, this is one of the best value blocks available — you get non-slip grip and beveled edges that cheaper blocks skip.
Buyer who has returned a similar product before
→
If you returned a block because it was too slippery, this one solves that. If you returned one because it was too soft, go for cork.
