Extra Thick Non-Slip Yoga Mat with Reversible Print for Comfort & Stability
Why We Recommend It
Tired of your yoga mat slipping mid-downward dog? If you're constantly readjusting or feeling the hard floor through a thin mat, the Gaiam Premium Print Reversible Mat is designed to solve exactly that. It gives you a stable, sticky 6mm surface that cushions your knees and wrists without being so thick that you lose balance. The trade-off? It's not the most portable mat, and it may have a slight odor when new that needs a few days to air out.
What Makes It Stand Out
Hold Every Pose Without Slipping
The textured, sticky surface keeps you stable in downward dog and warrior poses so you can focus on your breath, not your footing.
Extra Cushion Saves Your Joints
At 6mm thick, this mat absorbs pressure on knees, wrists, and hipsβno more wincing during kneeling poses or plank holds.
Two Looks, One Mat
Flip it over for a completely different designβkeeps your practice feeling fresh and matches any mood or studio vibe.

- Textured surface offers reliable grip in dry conditions, reducing slippage.
- Reversible design gives two looks in one mat, extending visual lifespan.

β Worth Knowing
- Initial odor can be strong and may require several days to air out fully.
- Grip decreases when wet, making it less suitable for hot yoga or sweaty sessions.

How It Stacks Up vs The Competition
The Gaiam Yoga Mat offers a reversible, extra thick design at a budget-friendly price, ideal for beginners and general practice. Compared to premium options like the Feetlu Extra Thick Mat, it sacrifices some thickness and joint protection for affordability. The Manduka Pro is a durable, high-end alternative for serious yogis.
