They are light, easy to use, the beads are like a soft kind of bead that won’t hurt if you smack yourself in the ankle or head. Grip is good, my ooonly complaint is they made it seem super simple to adjust the length and it really wasn’t lol. I had to make it really short for my 3 year old and there was a lot of excess rope and beads obviously and I couldn’t figure out how to tie it up and fit it all through the hole bc there was so much, i dont know , it took me like 30-45 mins though, maybe it’s just me, it’s still a great jump rope and great for the price lol

What a great idea to have multiple jump ropes for kids in different colors in one package! I recently bought these blue, green, and pink ones for my grandson's birthday. I was a little concerned about having the pink one included because he has three brothers. However, I have also seen neighborhood girls over at his house. He turned nine and the local weather has been icy, causing school to be canceled resulting in more free time. The boys opened the jump ropes and immediated started jumping. I wanted to find her a jump rope that had more weight to it and that was easily adjustable. After searching on Amazon and reading reviews, I settled on these jump ropes and they are exactly what I was looking for. After a quick adjustment for her height, she was able to jump rope so much easier. Since I had ordered a 3 pack, there was a spare one for me to jump with her! I hadn't jumped rope since elementary school and this rope worked great and didn't tangle easily and trip this grandma, as the lightweight rope tried to do!
