These weights are perfect if you are doing the Les Mills streaming group fitness classes. They are the exact same ones that are used in the official Les Mills classes that are offered at gyms, YMCA, etc. The weights slide and lock onto the SmartBar very quickly and are easy to release as well. (Oh yeah, make sure you get the SmartBar Gen 2 if you want to maximize using these weights).

The center bar in each plate makes using the weights without the bar easy as well. If you've taken any of the Les Mills classes you know that being able to transition from one weight to another is key since things are very fast paced.

These weights are definitely expensive compared to regular circular weights but the compatibility with the SmartBar and the center handle really add value if you are using them for Les Mills workouts.

The only potential downside I see is that these weights may not be enough for some stronger people so you may end up with smaller weights that you don't use if you'd rather have several of the large weight on the bar at the same time.
